A unique beauty, stunning eyes, and signature bangs make the iconic 1950's pin up model, Bettie Page the "Queen of Pin Ups". At an early age Bettie Page found a love for drama in high school, where she actively participated in acting classes. She continued her career in the Fine Arts when she ventured to study drama in NYC. On her path, she met a photographer who admired her figure and asked her to pose for a photo session. That photo session had Bettie wanting more. Shortly after she found a career in modeling and posing for multiple photographers. Bettie Page's early career involved her and the photographer to create the first of many pin-up calendars. Not long after her popularity grew, and grew, and grew! She posed for dozens of photographers throughout the 1950’s and became one of the first pin up models shortly after Marilyn Monroe. Her playful, sexy, and confident attitude led her to pose for Playboy in the centerfold in the January 1955 issue. Greg’s new painting for the cover for Bettie Page, published by Dynamite, stars none other than the beautiful and sexy pin up model! The 1950’s baby pink, clean-cut bangs, and flirtatious attire create an iconic 1950’s pinup cover. In the painting we get a sneak peak at the gorgeous model’s “classified adventure” in Hollywood!
